Auracle card of the day: Mindfulness
Definition:Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention on the present. When you're mindful, you observe your thoughts and feelings from a distance, without judging them good or bad. Instead of letting your life pass you by, mindfulness means living in the moment and awakening to experience.
Mindfulness is a difficult energy to work with, this is the reason why it is a lot easier to stay blissfully ignorant. When we are in a space of ignorance than it makes it easy to blame others for the things that we created. When we are practicing mindfulness then we have to be constantly aware of our own negative thoughts, feelings, words and actions. We have to be aware of what these energies create for others and what part we are playing in this creative process. Mindfulness means constant responsibility for what you are creating in this world. Many people think mindfulness is about being mindful of the mind, this can help but it can also lead to over-responsibility and a bit of an ego trip. We have to be aware of energy, what energy we use, how we use it, what we create with it and if we are using energy from our future (worry), how we will pay it back. Lack of mindfulness creates karma. The law of energy suggests that we have to use energy with integrity and if we are not doing that, that there will be retribution, a price to pay, karma. We are not victims of circumstance we are co-creators of Source light and our duty is to be mindful of what we create. For today be more aware of what you say, how you say it and what it can create for others, there is a fine line between being truthful and hurtful and part of our duty is to balance our truth with a deeper universal truth. Mindfulness starts at home, how do I treat the ones around me, how do I treat myself? What are my unconscious mind chatter about, is it constructive or destructive? Meditation is the only way we can achieve true mindfulness, no amount of spiritual teaching, mind processing or observation can lead to mindfulness, it has to be physically experienced in silence. So for today, try and find a quiet space, observe your mind, observe your breath and move into silence.
